How to find the right size
1. Measure your child's feetYou do this by downloading and printing our foot gauge, which your child should stand on with bare feet. Using the ruler, you can then read the length from heel to toe. Remember to measure both feet, as there may be a difference in size. Alternatively, you can place your child on a piece of paper and draw around each foot, which you can then measure.
2. Add growth allowanceOnce you have measured the feet, remember to add a growth allowance of 1-1.5 cm. The growth allowance should be added to the length of your child's foot.
3. Find the shoes that fit your childOnce you have collected measurements for both your child's foot length and growth allowance, you can now see which size fits your child best. Under our products you can easily see what the inside measurements are for the different sizes.

Wheat Footwear The model is small in size, we recommend that you go up a size if you are in doubt.Lovely winter boots with a printed high shaft and zipper for your child. - Wool lining- Tex membrane - High shaft with hand drawn print- Zipper on the inside Wheat’s winter boots have a comfortable and warm wool lining and are easy for your child to get in with a simple closure. The boots have a Tex membrane that is 100% breathable and waterproof, which is practical for the autumn and winter seasons, as this keeps the little feet both warm and dry. These winter boots have a high shaft and a practical zipper on the inside of the boots that make it easy for your child to put them on. The upper is made of a combination of LWG certified leather and recycled nylon. The nylon is printed with a beautiful hand drawn print made by Wheat’s in-house design team. The boots are breathable and sweat absorbent to ensure good comfort for your child. The material is very durable and gets a wonderful patina over time. As a lovely detail, the boots have suede details at the heel and top edge in a matching colour to the rest of the boot. The boots have wool lining, as well as a removable insole that is made of latex and covered with wool, which is why these boots are perfect as winter boots, as they are both supportive and warm. Latex is a natural product that is breathable and flexible with a trampoline effect for more comfortable steps. The boots have a ‘retro’ inspired outsole made of recycled TR rubber with great traction. It is normal in size with a firm grip on your child's foot.
